Our Local Offer: Bow Bridge Jobs & Skills
- Poplar HARCA funds the Bromley by Bow Centre to deliver programmes and services that benefit the residents of the local estates
- Create Your Future – supports unemployed Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) women with employability support and ESOL provision; supports clients to become job ready and find work through one-to-one advice and guidance, tailored employability courses, confidence building & empowerment
- WorkRoutes50+ – supports people aged over 50 who are long-term unemployed and economically inactive into sustainable work.
- Aim4Work – supports people aged over 25 who are unemployed and living with a common mental health condition (e.g., anxiety, stress or panic disorder) into work and training with up to nine months’ support and in-work support for a further six months.
- Employer Engagement team – works in matching clients and prospective employers and supports all Employment and Skills projects. The team has built and maintained effective working relationships with more than 90 different organisations across a variety of sectors ranging from healthcare and hospitality to security and childcare.

- Poplar HARCA will continue to fund Bromley by Bow Centre to develop and deliver employment & training support to unemployed residents of Stroudley Walk
- Our Employment & Training Hub will work closely with Bromley by Bow Centre to extend employment & training support offer to vulnerable residents like people with disability, care leavers and ex-offenders
- Ensure on-going delivery of programmes started in the past year.
