Launched the UK’s first electric car club with e-car, now rolled out across Tower Hamlets

 

Supporting R-Urban Poplar, a testbed for sustainable urban living and innovation

Solar panels programme across our estates, which has delivered £36,000 to residents in energy savings and is expected to generate £2m value of clean energy over 20 years

 

Led the multi-partner A12 Green Mile masterplanning scheme, identifying opportunities to address air pollution and noise interventions along the A12, including a noise barrier.

  • 2 new public pocket parks part of Chrisp Street transformation
  • School Streets in Teviot, Burdett and St Paul’s Way
  • New greening and active travel routes proposed as part of the Aberfeldy New Masterplan
  • Partnership with Bikeworks and LBTH to run all ages-all ability cycling training as well as cycling as active transport schemes.
  • Extension of the solar panels community investment scheme
  • Green tech sector focus as part of Teviot enterprise proposals, building on the success of R-Urban Poplar
  • A strategic partner of Women’s Environmental Network in a 5-year Lottery-funded JUST-FACT (Just Food and Climate Transition) programme.
